Today was another chilly day on the farm, so we mostly focused on greenhouse work, planting our first round of tomatoes for starts later in the season. Last week though was a big week out in the fields. Despite the cold weather we planted 75 lbs of onions and 10 lbs of snap peas--quite the haul! Below Tyler and Craig carefully bury the baby onions, and our excellent volunteer Aaron, lugs a bucket of onions to the end of the row to start planting.
Things are starting to shape up in the green house, which is a welcome reminder that spring really is on her way. Check out the growth of our Kohlrabi! The first picture is from last Wednesday, and the second one is from this morning--I think this bodes well for our harvest!
